Order Your School Supply Kits by June 1, 2012
A supply kit order form was sent home in your student's purple communication folder on May 18th. The deadline for ordering is June 1st We have extended the discount to the parents as this is not a fundraiser but a service the PTA provides to you.

The BEST way to get your order in on time is to complete your order online. Online ordering will alleviate the paperwork and slim chance of a lost check or form. There is a tailored made website for THES. At that time you can order as many kits as you please, pay for it by credit card and that’s it. A tracking system is in place and your kit will be ready for pick up the week of Aug. 27th. Those hours will be posted on the website closer to delivery time. Please check the website for updates over the summer.

2012-2013 PTA Standing and Special Committee Interest Form

The PTA Executive Committee is looking for volunteers to fill the PTA Standing and Special Committee Chairmen positions for the 2012-2013 school year. An interest form for these positions was included in your student's purple folder on Friday, May 4th. If you need another copy, please click here. A brief description of all positions is included on the back of the form. Please take a moment to complete the Program Survey by clicking here . Circle the answers that pertain to you and return the form to the PTA mailbox as soon as you can. Your responses help the PTA to revise and adjust programs to meet the interests and needs of our students and families.

Corporate Matching a Success

A huge thank you to the THES families who have submitted paperwork for corporate matching of their Trailblazer Club donations. To date, we have collected $1,260 in matching funds, which brings our total Trailblazer Club donations to $22,460 or 124% of our original $18,000 goal.

An additional $98 in corporate matching has been confirmed and we are awaiting the funds. For some companies, time is running out to submit your corporate matching paperwork. Many companies impose a 60 to 90-day time limit from the date you made your donation to request corporate matching. If you have donated to the Trailblazer Club and work for a company that will match charitable donations, please consider asking your company to match your donation.
